Introducing Emma Eacott to The Unlikely Mummy Community. She is local to Bexley and has a passion to support the community.
Emma lives in Sidcup with her husband and three children. Before she embarked on motherhood Emma was a PA in a large management consultancy in the city.
She has completed her postnatal doula training with Younique Postnatal. She is also a mentored trainee doula under Younique Postnatal as well as member of doula uk. In addition to this Emma is First aid trained, has post natal planning, and a breast and chest feeding support specialist.
What Emma offers
The first few weeks with a newborn are a very special time for the whole family and as a post natal doula its Emma’s job to nurture & support you all as you spend this time bonding, processing and healing.
Emma can offer emotional, practical, physical and informational support in areas such as;
- Support with feeding, in whichever way you choose.
- Debriefing the birth – having someone around to give your family space to debrief and talk about their experience can be very beneficial in the postnatal period.
- Run errands, shopping, look after baby so you can have a shower/nap/eat/sleep. Do some light housework like popping washing on, folding laundry, tidy around. Come with you to appointments, cook basic meals, support with siblings.
Emma is well connected with local services and support networks and can guide you in the right direction if needed.

She can be booked hourly or she does offer postnatal packages. Emma can also offer a virtual services.
