Yummy oven meatballs

Cook rating: Easy

This will take no more than 30minutes, I first made this of an evening, prep, cooking, cooling down. So it is super quick and easy!

What you need to make these really simple meatballs.

You can use turkey, beef or lamb minced meat, I used turkey.
Onions (not too much)
Dried herbs (do this to taste, optional spice depending on your baby)
Breadcrumbs
Egg
Baking tray with greaseproof paper

What you need to do

Preheat oven at 200 degrees
Blitz up your bread to make the breadcrumbs. Leave to one side
Cut your onion up
Add the mincemeat to a bowl and add dried herbs, egg, breadcrumb.
Mix up well
Roll into balls (you may want to have some flour to hand in case you need drier hands)
Place on the greaseproof paper
Pop into the oven for 20 mins (checked it’s cooked)
Let it cool and then freeze on a plate ready to put in individual bags.

To eat at a later time

Take the balls out of the freezer and allow to defrost
Once defrosted, microwave for 30 seconds and check it’s hot.
Let it cool down
Give your baby their dinner and enjoy.

Note:
You can have this as a lunch or a dinner. I have served this up with a few homemade chips and veg and I have also just given it as meatball with just cucumber sticks.
