Banana and Oat Cookies

Banana and Oat Cookies

Easy, fun and when your little ones are older they can join in too.

Cook rating: Easy

I was looking for some on the go food for my son and as I had loads of ripe bananas and oats. I decided to make some more cookies for us.

What you need to make this tasty dish

You can measure (you should) but sometimes you can just guess too…

165g oats
2 riped bananas
Vanilla essence (half a tsp)

That is literally it!

optional: Blueberries, or dried cranberries – that ever you fancy.

What you need to do

I like to get my ingredients ready before I start, I find it saves on time.

  1. Mash up the bananas in a bowl
  2. Add to the oats
  3. Add the vanilla essence
  4. Mixed together

Once ready to cook

Put the baking sheet on a tray and preheat the oven to 180 degrees for approx. 15 minutes.
Take out and leave to cool.

Note: You can blitz your oats to make them finer, leave as whole rolled oats or make them even finer into a flour texture. Completely up to you. I left mine as it was for time reasons.

My Little Man is a year old and loved this.
