Mediation, yoga, pilates, exercising, reading, writing, having a cup of tea, singing, dancing or even walking are all things you take for granted before you have children. I can’t remember the last time I managed to do any of the above before at least six months after the birth of my son. 

I then sat down and wanted just five minutes to myself, I didn’t want to do anything, I just wanted to sit. So every day I started to do it, I thought to myself other mums (and dads) can join me. We all find it hard to find time but let’s make it a challenge and do it together, encourage and support each other.
